ABM and Lane Valente Industries, two new full-service providers, are now part of Mack Trucks’ comprehensive Turnkey Solutions program for Mack battery-electric vehicle (BEV) customers.

The Turnkey Solutions program is an end-to-end fleet management service covering all aspects of developing charging infrastructure, including site assessment, engineering and design, permitting, utility coordination, equipment procurement, installation, and ongoing maintenance.

Expanded Infrastructure Providers

With the addition of ABM and Lane Valente, Mack’s program now includes four charging infrastructure providers to support customers of the Mack MD Electric and Mack LR Electric.

The expanded program demonstrates Mack’s continued investment in its electrification ecosystem, even as the broader commercial EV market navigates a period of slower adoption. By strengthening its portfolio of national, full-service infrastructure providers, Mack is ensuring that dealers and customers have access to the support they need to transition to electric with confidence.

“Charging infrastructure continues to be one of the most significant barriers to commercial EV adoption, and Mack is committed to removing that hurdle for our customers,” said Ryan Saba, e-mobility energy solutions manager at Mack Trucks. “By expanding the Turnkey Solutions program with ABM and Lane Valente, we’re giving fleets access to experienced, full-service providers that can manage the entire infrastructure process, from site assessment through long-term maintenance, so our customers can focus on running their operations.”

ABM: More than 30,000 EV Charging Ports

ABM is a leading provider of facility, engineering, and infrastructure solutions. The company’s eMobility solutions team has installed more than 30,000 EV charging ports nationwide and offers end-to-end fleet electrification services, including in-house engineering and design, procurement, construction, power provisioning, and performance solutions.

“Mack’s leadership in electric truck manufacturing, combined with its Turnkey Solutions program, aligns seamlessly with ABM’s expertise in infrastructure, facility services and electrification support,” said Mark Hawkinson, president of technical solutions at ABM. “Together, we can deliver a fully integrated approach that simplifies adoption and helps fleets move from planning to operation more efficiently. Our ability to orchestrate the entire deployment lifecycle, and to help customers plan for capacity expansion, energy management and long-term infrastructure performance, positions fleets to remain competitive and resilient as the industry evolves.”

Lane Valente Industries: EV Charging Infrastructure for 15 Years

Lane Valente Industries is a national facility maintenance, construction, and energy solutions provider with more than 30 years of experience. The company’s Electric Vehicle Charging Station Infrastructure Division, established more than 15 years ago, has supported the deployment of more than 20,000 charging ports across the United States and Canada. Lane Valente provides turnkey electrification services, including site assessment, load and operational analysis, infrastructure design and engineering, permitting, utility coordination, equipment procurement, installation, and ongoing maintenance.

“The commercial EV market is at a critical inflection point, where fleets are moving from early pilots to scaled deployment,” said Nick Angeramo, vice president of energy services at Lane Valente Industries. Our inclusion in Mack Trucks’ program allows us to meet that moment alongside an OEM that understands both the operational realities of its customers and the complexities of electrification. A key differentiator for our team is our ability to self-perform critical portions of the work, which allows us to maintain tighter control over project schedules, quality and safety, while reducing reliance on third parties.”

ABM and Lane Valente join existing Turnkey Solutions provider InCharge Energy, expanding the program’s national reach and giving customers more options to match their unique infrastructure needs.

Benefits of the Mack MD Electric

The Mack MD Electric is available for order in Class 6 and Class 7 ratings. The Class 6 model has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 25,995 pounds, and the Class 7 model has a GVWR of 33,000 pounds. Both models are exempt from the 12% Federal Excise Tax (FET). The MD Electric meets the needs of trucking applications requiring dry van/refrigerated, stake/flatbed and dump vocations.

Benefits of the Mack LR Electric

The Mack LR Electric offers a standard 376kWh total battery capacity, powered by twin electric motors with 448 continuous horsepower and 4,051 lb.-ft. of peak torque output from zero RPM. Four NMC lithium-ion batteries, charged through a 150 kW, SAE J1772-compliant charging system, propel the vehicle and power all onboard accessories.
