For physical operations leaders, downtime means lost capacity, disrupted service, and thinner profits. Motive said organizations lose nearly nine days per vehicle each year to unplanned downtime, costing an estimated $448 to $760 per vehicle per day.

In addition, in a new study by Motive, fleet professionals ranked rising maintenance and repair costs as their top operational challenge.

Only 13% reported that their fleet management technology systems are well integrated and share data automatically across platforms. As a result, most teams still run disconnected maintenance workflows and are left reacting to emergencies while overpaying for parts and labor.

  • Cut costs with full visibility into operating spend: Maintenance pulls fuel spend from Motive Card together with repair and maintenance costs for every vehicle and asset tracked in Motive, so customers see the true cost of running each one.
  • Stop overpaying for repairs, parts, and aging vehicles: Motive Maintenance’s proactive warranty tracking helps teams stop paying for repairs already covered.
