WEX announced today, on National Truckers Appreciation Day, that its new app, 10-4 by WEX, offers nationwide diesel discounts to independent truckers, including owner-operators and small trucking fleets.
This free mobile app was developed by WEX to offer fuel discounts typically reserved for larger trucking enterprises to independent truckers and small trucking companies in the US. The 10-4 by WEX mobile app is free and available in the Google Play Store or the App Store.
Truckers or fleet drivers simply download the 10-4 by WEX app and begin using it for immediate discounts – the app is free and there are no applications, no credit checks, and no transaction fees.
Drivers enter their basic information, upload their preferred payment method (either debit or credit), and start saving. Savings are tracked through a dashboard in the app, and users get points for every gallon transaction to unlock bonus discounts.
“It’s no coincidence that the launch of 10-4 by WEX comes during National Truckers Appreciation Day. The new app is part and parcel with WEX’s continued commitment to the trucking community and the mobility industry as a whole,” said Timothy Hampton, SVP and general manager of OTR at WEX. “10-4 by WEX offers diesel discounts at Love’s and other leading truck stops, providing instant savings at the pump to independent owner-operators and other small trucking operations that have, historically, been left out of the mix.”
Easy Sign Up, No Credit Check or Application
Designed to provide independent owner-operators with instant savings on diesel, there are no credit checks and no applications.
10-4 by WEX Accepted at Popular Fueling Locations
Truckers can learn more about using 10-4 by WEX for savings at a large and growing discount network of U.S.-based truck stops, including:
Ambest
Road Ranger
Sapp Bros.
7FLEET Diesel Network (Speedway, Stripes, and 7-Eleven)
Additional leading merchants and related discounts expected in the coming months.
Cents Matter in Fuel Savings
Truckers bring their own payment – by inputting the credit or debit card of their choice – to earn immediate discounts at diesel stations across the country. There are no transaction fees and payments are secure.
Users earn points for every gallon purchased, which can lead to additional discounts. Rewards are available to those who invite their friends to the app.
More Convenience, Less Hassle
With digital receipts, you can share transaction details right from the app. And custom reports allow you to access transactions for 30, 60, 90 days, year-to-date, or another custom range.
Get Back on The Road Fast
View amenities such as parking, shower, and meals for the best deals on your route with 10-4 by WEX free fuel savings app.
“We know that, on average, independent truckers spend approximately $50,000 on fuel every year – almost a third of their total expenses and that’s even before anything is left over for themselves – which is why every cent matters. With 10-4 by WEX, we aim to support these important pillars of America’s economy by putting money back in their pocket with every gallon purchased – and keeping it simple so they can get back on the road fast,” Hampton said.
