Teletrac Navman Adds Mixed-Energy Fleet Tools to TN360

The new Energy Hub combines fuel transactions, EV charging data, vehicle range, and energy costs in one dashboard for fleets operating multiple vehicle and energy types.

Teletrac Navman has launched Energy Hub, a new TN360 tool designed to give fleet managers a consolidated view of fuel and charging activity across mixed-energy fleets.

The solution brings electric vehicle charging information and traditional fuel data into the same fleet management platform. It also supports alternative energy types beyond gasoline and diesel.

For work truck fleets operating a mix of internal combustion, hybrid, and electric vehicles, energy data may be spread across fuel card systems, fleet software, depot chargers, employee homes, and public charging networks. Energy Hub is intended to bring those sources together so managers can more easily track costs, energy use, and vehicle readiness.

Monitoring Vehicle Range and Charging Activity

“Fleet operations are becoming increasingly complex as businesses manage the transition to mixed-energy environments,” said Alain Samaha, CEO of Teletrac Navman. “The challenge is no longer simply collecting information but bringing it together in a way that supports better operational decision-making.”

Energy Hub provides real-time battery state-of-charge and estimated remaining-range information for electric and hybrid vehicles. These insights can help fleet managers determine whether a vehicle is ready for its next route, job, or shift.

Managers can also create alerts and exception reports to identify unusual fuel transactions, overcharging, and inefficient charging behavior.

The platform centralizes fuel card transaction data from participating providers, allowing fleets to reconcile spending, review transactions, and flag potential anomalies. Teletrac Navman said the system does not store sensitive fuel card information.

Bringing Fuel and EV Costs Together

Energy Hub also includes EV charging reimbursement tools for vehicles charged at an employee’s home. The system uses driver trip classification data to calculate and allocate energy costs associated with business travel.

The dashboard tracks energy consumption, fuel and charging transactions, cost per kilowatt-hour, and total spending across the fleet. Managers can also review charging trends, monitor live charging status, track individual charging events, and locate public charging stations.

For work truck fleets introducing electric vehicles while continuing to operate gasoline- or diesel-powered assets, the combined dashboard can reduce the need to compare energy and cost information manually across multiple systems.

“Energy Hub helps businesses reduce fragmentation and gain clearer insights into energy performance,” Samaha said.

Energy Hub is now available globally within Teletrac Navman’s TN360 platform.

Are You Tracking Your Fleet's True Total Cost of Ownership?

Bobit Business Media surveyed 190 fleet professionals and found that while most fleets are tracking costs, fragmented systems and data gaps are keeping true TCO visibility out of reach. With rising pressure to control spend in an increasingly volatile environment, the gap between what fleets think they know and what the data actually shows is wider than you might expect. See how your peers are managing costs today and where the industry still has room to improve.
