There is no shortage of news about struggles, challenges, and crisis. But in the world of fleet, there is so much good that happens that it deserves a special shout out. 

Take a moment to check out a few of the top news highlights that brightened our days and gave us a little bit of inspiration as of Feb. 25, 2022:

  1. Anheuser-Busch Delivers with Zero-Emission Fleet. Anheuser-Busch teamed up with fleet partners Nikola Corporation and BYD Motors to deliver Bud Light Next, the brand’s first zero carb beer, with zero-emissions. The special ‘zero-emission delivery’ leveraged the technology of both partners to sustainably deliver beer from Anheuser-Busch’s brewery in Van Nuys, California, to bars and retailers in Los Angeles using only zero-emission vehicles.   2. Mack Produces Milestone MD Series Truck. The Mack MD6, a Class 6 model, and the MD7, a Class 7 model, began rolling off the line Sept. 1, 2020. The Mack MD Series is built specifically for medium-duty applications. On Feb. 16th, the truckmaker announced a milestone 5,000th build! Read more...

A Greater Focus on Driver Health. Transfix Inc. (Transfix) announced a new partnership with The Trucking Fitness Company (TFC) to encourage the best possible health and livelihood for drivers across the U.S. Transfix will provide access to discounted memberships designed to help kickstart drivers' health and wellness journey with the Trucking Fitness Company starting March 1, 2022.   4. Toyota Raises $1.2M+ for Paralypmic Fund. Toyota auctioned two of the first i-Force Max Tundras at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, Arizona, resulting in more than $1.2 million going to benefit the Toyota U.S. Paralympic Fund. The Toyota Tundra Capstone with VIN 001 and Toyota TRD Pro with VIN 002 were sold at auction. Read more... 
  5. Kenworth Donates $540K for Scholarships. A Kenworth T880 concrete pump truck, donated for sale at the recent Concrete Industry Management (CIM) annual auction at World of Concrete, produced a $540,000 contribution to the Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program. Read more... 
  6. Multiple Drivers Recognized by TSOA. Transport Solutions of America (TSOA) announced a number of driver awards. The company recently announced its Q4 2021 Driver of the Quarter, 2021 Rookie Driver of the Year, and 2021 Driver of the Year award winners. In addition, the TSOA Upfitter Division announced its Q4 2021 Driver of the Quarter and its 2021 Driver of the Year award winners. Read more...
