Work Truck Seeks Fleet and Industry Insights on 2026 Trends and 2027 Forecasts
Work Truck is seeking insights from fleet leaders and industry partners on the trends that shaped 2026 and what commercial fleets should prepare for in 2027. Participate today!

Work Truck is asking fleet leaders and industry partners to share the trends that shaped commercial fleet operations in 2026 and what they expect fleets will face in 2027.
Work Truck
What changed for work truck fleets in 2026, and what should fleet managers be preparing for in 2027? Work Truck is looking for insights from both fleet professionals and industry partners for its annual trends and forecasts coverage.
From vehicle acquisition and maintenance costs to technology, workforce challenges, safety, regulations, fuel and energy, and day-to-day operations, commercial fleets continued to navigate a changing environment in 2026.
But the story of the year isn't just about what happened. It's about what fleet professionals experienced firsthand, what industry partners saw developing across their customers, and what both groups believe comes next.
Work Truck Wants to Hear From Fleet Managers
Fleet managers and other fleet professionals are invited to share what they experienced within their own operations during 2026. What changed the most? What became a bigger priority or challenge? Were there any developments that surprised you? And, looking toward 2027, what are you watching, preparing for, or hoping to change?
Fleet professionals do not need to answer every question, one strong observation or prediction is just as welcome as several!
Industry Partners Can Share What They're Seeing Across the Market
Work Truck is also looking for perspectives from OEMs, upfitters, technology providers, leasing and fleet management companies, maintenance and service providers, suppliers, and other organizations serving commercial fleets.
Industry partners are being asked to identify the trends they saw developing across their fleet customers in 2026 and what they expect will have the greatest impact on light- and medium-duty work truck fleets in 2027.
Firsthand market observations, customer trends, benchmarks, data, and real-world examples are especially welcome. Responses should focus on broader fleet and industry developments rather than individual products or company promotion.
When Will Work Truck Publish the Results?
Responses from both fleet professionals and industry partners are requested by Friday, November 20, 2026, or earlier.
Work Truck expects to publish its 2026 trends coverage on or after December 15, 2026, followed by its 2027 forecast coverage on or after December 31, 2026.
Whether you have one big takeaway from 2026, several trends you're tracking, or a prediction about where work truck fleets are headed next, Work Truck wants to hear what you're seeing.
