A new Dashcam feature has been released to improve fleet safety while on the road.
Transportation technology services company Eroad announced the launch of Eroad Clarity Solo Dashcam in 2021. Now it also offers Clarity Get.
Clarity Solo is a single, connected, and cost-effective video solution that delivers more operational visibility while promoting driver safety and protection from false claims.
Eroad Clarity Solo makes it easier for carriers to configure and implement video telematics into more asset and fleet types — ranging from national and regional mixed fleets to local short-haul heavy and light commercial vehicles (LCV) fleets, such as construction, waste management, and distribution vehicles.
Eroad has also added contactless Near Field Communication (NFC) log-on technology to its dashcam that associates all video and telematics to a specific driver.
In addition, Eroad Clarity Solo provides a more agile search system that enables video search based on vehicle location.
Boost Safety With Eroad
Eroad’s Clarity Get allows fleets to view video clips that are important to the operation, as well as historical video footage from MyEroad, the cloud-based fleet management platform or mobile application.
EROAD Clarity Get combines HD video, GPS tracking, and driver behavior data in a single device, empowering you to boost safety, efficiency, and visibility across a fleet.
Additional benefits include:
Protect your business: Protect technicians, business, and reputation from fraud, false claims, and wrongful lawsuits.
Save on insurance and repair costs: Quickly retrieve video footage to establish fault, exonerate your technicians and expedite settlements.
Improve fleet safety: Use driver behavior data to identify coaching opportunities, encourage better driving habits and promote safety within your organization.
Track and monitor your fleet: Know where your vehicles are in real time, provide accurate ETAs and create geofences to identify arrivals and departures. Maximize uptime and ensure technicians get to jobs on time.
For drivers and managers wanting more convenience while on the road, Eroad also has two apps available: Eroad Assist and MyEroad.
Some of the features in the apps include messaging, geofencing, image capture, and duty status.
