Ram 1500 EcoDiesel's Fuel Economy Now Leads Pickup Trucks
The 2014 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel pickup truck has received the highest-ever highway fuel economy from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, according to data released Tuesday.

The 2014 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel has received the highest-ever highway fuel economy for a pickup truck in the U.S. from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, according to data released Tuesday.
The Ram 1500 EcoDiesel, a 3.0L V-6, is rated at 28 miles per gallon highway, 20 mpg city, and 23 mpg combined.
When operating in 4WD mode, the Ram 1500 is rated at 19 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined, according to data posted to Fueleconomy.gov.
Fleets can begin ordering the vehicle on Friday, according to Chrysler. The vehicle starts at a retail price of $25,395, which includes an $1,195 destination fee.
