Fleet managers operating Ford vehicles now have access to real-time vehicle data and insights, thanks to Motive’s new integration with Ford Pro Data Services. This integration unlocks Ford vehicle data through the vehicle's embedded modem, streamlining operations and giving fleet managers access to key metrics—all without the need for any hardware installation.
By centralizing data from Ford’s 2020 and newer models into Motive’s Fleet Management dashboard, fleet professionals can benefit from unified, real-time data. This includes GPS location, engine hours, fault codes, and more, all accessible through Motive’s highly customizable platform.
“Ford vehicles are the workhorses of the U.S. economy, especially in industries requiring heavy-duty performance,” said Jai Ranganathan, chief product officer at Motive. “With this integration, some of the largest fleets can easily access built-in vehicle data through Motive’s dashboard. This allows for more informed decision-making, operational efficiency, and improved productivity.”
Ford has been a leader in the commercial vehicle market for nearly four decades, with over 4 million connected commercial vehicles. The new Ford Pro-Motive integration enables fleets to tap into this vast network, offering fleet managers real-time information for smarter, more efficient operations.
Motive’s Fleet Dashboard goes beyond basic telematics, offering features such as preventive maintenance alerts, performance trend analysis, and customizable vehicle inspection forms. Fleet managers can also access fuel efficiency insights, assess driver behavior, optimize routes, and even receive automated recommendations — all through one platform.
For fleet managers running Ford vehicles, this integration offers a seamless way to unlock vital data, enabling smarter operations and reducing downtime, all without any cumbersome installations. Motive’s no-code customizations make it easy to tailor workflows and reports, ensuring that fleet professionals can focus on what matters most: keeping their operations running smoothly and efficiently.
