Geotab, a cloud-based telematics software provider, has partnered with bp pulse, an EV solutions and charging infrastructure provider, to offer integrated EV charging and energy management.

Through Geotab's Marketplace, fleet operators can access bp pulse's intelligent charge management software, Omega, which will integrate with Geotab's telematics data. This integration will enable fleet operators to optimize charging operations for lower-cost energy and vehicle availability, while also providing insight into all charging operations from a user-friendly dashboard. 

Geotab's VP of Sustainable Solutions, Eric Mallia, stated that the collaboration is an excellent example of how they are working with industry leaders to deliver valuable sustainability and electrification solutions to their customers. The bp pulse Omega software is now available on the Geotab Marketplace, allowing joint customers to access intelligent charge management software options within their existing telematics platform. 

The partnership also means that bp pulse is now part of the Geotab Sustainability Alliance, a group of solution and service providers dedicated to creating cutting-edge solutions to help fleets operate efficiently and reduce their carbon footprint. Together, bp pulse and Geotab offer comprehensive EV charging and energy management for all types of vehicles, including trucks, buses, vans, and light-duty, providing a simplified electrification process for users.

According to Sujay Sharma, CEO of bp pulse Americas, the collaboration is a significant step towards delivering turnkey solutions for fleet operators, making the electrification process simpler for fleets of all types and sizes.
