Enhance Customer’s Ability to Maximize uptime— Mack Trucks will expand the number of electronic control units (ECUs) enabled for Mack Over the Air (OTA) updates in its heavy-duty vocational lineup including the Mack Anthem, Pinnacle, and Granite models.
The additional control modules available for remote updates enhance the customers’ ability to maximize uptime. What once required an in-person visit can now be done remotely to more ECUs and at a time most convenient for the customer.
Single Pane of Glass View for Construction Fleets — HCSS will integrate with Clue. Clue integrates with HCSS HeavyJob, Telematics, and Equipment360, providing an integrated platform for all systems where construction fleets can get a single pane of glass view of their entire operation.
This platform connects all company assets into a single system, including:
Yellow iron.
On-road vehicles.
Rentals.
Crew.
Prevent Wrong-Way Accidents— Michelin DDi announced its new service Wrong Way. Part of the Safer Roads suite of services, it is designed to help identify the locations where wrong-way driving is happening.
Automate Construction Fleet Data — IntelliShift has partnered with Data Xchange to enable IntelliShift to integrate with Trimble Viewpoint and Sage, both construction industry enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
The partnership aims to streamline project workflows, improve collaboration, and give added insight into financial health.
Rapid Roadside Assistance for Transport Refrigeration Units — Thermo King announced its Remote Operating Center, which provides rapid roadside assistance for transport refrigeration units by combining technology and human expertise.
