Trimble has announced a strategic collaboration with Fleetsafe.ai, the AI-powered video telematics company, to integrate Trimble’s industry-leading PC*Miler commercial mapping technology into the Fleetsafe platform. The integration will enhance map visualization, routing accuracy, and real-time fleet awareness for customers worldwide.
Accuracy, Scalability & Reliability
Trimble said it was selected for its proven accuracy, scalability, and reliability across commercial vehicle types. The collaboration will deliver fleet-optimized mapping layers and intelligent navigation tools, enhancing driver safety, operational efficiency, and compliance.
The integration will also provide greater oversight, richer location context, and real-time situational awareness, while Trimble’s CoPilot navigation empowers professional drivers with safer, smarter routing and on-the-road decision support.
“Integrating Trimble’s PC*Miler technology strengthens our ability to deliver precise, context-rich location intelligence for fleets of every size,” said Simon Marsh, founder of Fleetsafe.ai. “It’s another step toward helping our customers see more, know more, and act faster through intelligent video telematics.”
“We’re delighted to work with Fleetsafe.ai to bring Trimble’s proven mapping and navigation capabilities to more global commercial fleets,” said Chris Quin, vice president, European sales, commercial mapping and routing at Trimble. “Together, we’re providing commercial operators with the real-time intelligence they need to enhance road safety and efficiency through connected, data-driven technology.”
PC*Miler Integration Underway
The integration of Trimble PC*Miler is already underway, and the update will deliver enhanced map layers for cars, trucks, and light-duty commercial vehicles within the telematics dashboard.
Following this initial integration, Fleetsafe.ai will shortly expand its offering to include Trimble’s CoPilot navigation, bringing advanced, commercial-grade routing and navigation tools directly to professional fleet operators.
With operations across the UK, Europe, and North America, Fleetsafe.ai continues to expand its platform’s reach and capability. Trimble said the collaboration underscores both companies’ commitment to supporting the safe, efficient, and sustainable movement of fleets worldwide.
