Shyft Group, Ford Motor Company, Daimler Truck North America, and Nissan North America became the latest companies to announce recalls on certain vehicles.

  • Shyft Group (Shyft Group) announced it is recalling approximately 2,139 2018-2019 Utilimaster Work Trucks, as the welds may be missing or cracked on certain areas of the truck's body mount frame. According to the company, dealers will inspect for missing welds, and repair if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed in September 2022.

  • Ford announced it is recalling approximately 1,519 2022 F-150 Raptor Series vehicles equipped with 37-inch tires, as the lug nuts on the wheels may have been incorrectly tightened. Dealers will tighten or replace the wheel lug nuts, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on Sept. 19, according to Ford.

  • Daimler Truck announced it is recalling approximately 202 2022-2023 Western Star 49X and 47X vehicles. Daimler Truck said the u-joint pinch bolt on the steering shaft may detach, which can cause a loss of steering control. Dealers will inspect and repair the joint, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on November 11, 2022, according to the company.

  • Nissan announced it is recalling approximately 203,223 2020-2023 Titan and Frontier vehicles, as the transmission parking pawl may not engage when the vehicle is shifted into park, which can result in a vehicle rollaway. Nissan said owners are advised to apply the parking brake every time they park their vehicle. A remedy plan is currently under development, according to the company. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on November 1, 2022.
