AUSTIN, TEXAS - Precision Fleet Brakes opened a new full service, state-of-the-art cryogenic production center in Gardena, Calif. With the new facility, Precision has further expanded its processing capabilities to produce four times more rotors than before to meet the demands of its ever-increasing base of fleet vehicle customers.
"The new cryogenic processing center is significant for Precision Fleet Brakes because it illustrates our continued plans for growth and our commitment to serving the needs of our customers," said Zane McCarthy, president and CEO. "We're proud to say that Precision now has the largest cryogenic production facility in the United States, with the latest technology and quality assurance standards."
Precision Fleet Brakes is a unique company because it utilizes cryogenic technology to treat brake pads and rotors through the use of very low temperatures. Cryogenically processed brake components have an extended life of up to four times longer than original equipment, resulting in increased vehicle uptime and cost savings. They can take the punishment of brutal braking and environmental wear to keep vehicles on the road longer between brake jobs.
