The three finalists for the 2015 North American Truck/Utility of the Year include the Chevrolet Colorado, Ford F-150, and Lincoln MKC. The three finalists for the 2015 North American Car of the Year include the Ford Mustang, Hyundai Genesis, and Volkswagen Golf.
The winners will be chosen at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on Jan. 12. The finalists were announced at an Automotive Press Association conference on Dec. 9.
The judges panel of 60 automotive journalists consider factors such as design, safety, innovation and value for the dollar.
The 2013 winners were the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and Chevrolet Silverado.
