TOPEKA, KS –
The National Association of Trailer Manufacturers (NATM) presented 3M, based in Saint Paul, Minn., with the Associate Member of the Year
Award. This award is given to an Associate Member who has made outstanding
contributions to NATM. The award was presented to 3M on Feb. 28, 2008, at the
Awards Luncheon held during the NATM 20th Annual Convention and Trade Show in Las Vegas, Nev.
3M has been a member of NATM since 1998, an exhibitor at the Association’s annual Trade Show since 1999, and an advertiser in NATM publications. 3M is also one of the biggest sponsors for NATM’s Annual Convention — this year hosting the NATM Membership Meeting and Breakfast.
The National Association of Trailer Manufacturers was
founded in 1987 and represents manufacturers who produce light- and medium-duty
trailers. NATM members also include suppliers to the industry. It is organized
to promote, both to the trailer industry and to the public, a universal
recognition of safety and quality in the trailer manufacturing industry. NATM
works to improve the trailer industry through the promotion of compliance with
Federal Safety Regulations and selected industry standards. The association
currently has more than 900 member companies across the United States, Canada, Mexico,
and other foreign countries.
