Merchants Fleet announced an expanded partnership with UFOFLEET, a technology platform designed to streamline fleet management through automation and digital integration. The collaboration builds on the success of FleetShare, Merchants’ driver-focused, app-based fleet program powered by UFOFLEET technology.
Expanding the FleetShare Platform
Introduced in 2023, FleetShare provides fleet managers with a centralized control center and real-time operational data. The platform integrates with tools such as Keycafe for key management, PAVE AI for digital inspections, and contract management systems. It’s currently in use across several top-performing fleets and last-mile delivery providers.
Behind the platform, Merchants leverages UFOFLEET-Automation to automate tasks from vehicle allocation to maintenance scheduling. The system replaces manual workflows with scalable digital processes, improving speed and consistency across operations.
“At Merchants Fleet, our focus is on using innovation to enhance efficiency and service,” said Whitney Reynolds, FleetShare director. “UFOFLEET helps us streamline operations and continue delivering measurable results for our clients.”
Deepening Strategic Collaboration
The expanded partnership aims to modernize legacy systems, strengthen automation, and identify new opportunities within Merchants Fleet’s operations.
“We’re committed to simplifying fleet management and ensuring our technology evolves with client needs,” said Jeff Nieman, senior vice president and chief operating officer at Merchants Fleet. “Partnering with UFOFLEET helps us drive innovation and improve service delivery.”
Technology Platform for Fleet Modernization
Launched in 2023 by the creators of UFODRIVE, UFOFLEET is a modular cloud platform designed to help fleet and automotive companies automate operations and improve the customer experience.
“With UFOFLEET, we’re bringing the same level of modernization to fleet management that we’ve seen in financial services,” said Aidan McClean, CEO and cofounder of UFOFLEET. “Working with Merchants Fleet has allowed us to refine our technology and deliver a more integrated fleet experience.”
