Mercedes-Benz Trucks Remote 3.0 App Connects Phone to eActros 600
The new Mercedes-Benz Trucks Remote 3.0 app connects the eActros 600 to a driver’s smartphone. The app displays the battery level, range, charge level, and the time remaining until the desired target charge level is reached.

The Mercedes-Benz Trucks Remote 3.0 app is available in more than 13 languages and can be used in conjunction with TruckLive.

The new Mercedes-Benz Trucks Remote 3.0 app forms the digital interface between truck drivers and their Mercedes-Benz trucks. The mobile app allows them to view various relevant vehicle functions in national and international long-distance haulage directly via mobile phone.
The app, which can now be used in combination with the Mercedes-Benz eActros 600, also displays urgent messages in the form of push notifications.
Availability for the Actros L and Arocs
Starting this summer, the Mercedes-Benz Trucks Remote 3.0 app is also expected to be available for the new Actros L and the Arocs. The prerequisite for use is an active TruckLive contract for the company that owns or operates the truck and that the truck is equipped with the Multimedia Cockpit Interactive 2 and the Truck Data Centre 8.
Real-Time Updates & Push Notifications
The mobile app can be used to retrieve important general status information on the kilometer/mile reading, compressed-air supply, tire pressure, and, in the future, fuel and AdBlue fill levels for trucks with conventional drive systems. If a function is not okay, the driver immediately receives the corresponding information via push notifications.
eActros 600 Range & Charging Data
The battery-electric eActros 600 also displays the battery level, range, charge level, and the time remaining until the desired target charge level is reached.
During the charging process, the driver always receives full transparency about the charging status using the app. The push notification informs you, for example, as soon as a charging process starts, is interrupted, or is completed after reaching the target charge level, so that no time is lost on the trip.
The company said that when the app is launched, drivers will also have access to several other features that make their work easier. During their breaks, drivers can check the status of the locking system, doors, and windows. Further functions will be added successively.
Pairing the App with the Truck
Mobile Mercedes-Benz Trucks Remote 3.0 is available for smartphones from iOS 15 and Android 9 within the Apple Store or Google Play Store. The pairing of phone and truck is done directly via the Multimedia Cockpit Interactive 2 using an automatically generated QR code. The often time-consuming entry of passwords is not necessary with this app.
If several drivers are on the road with the same truck, the app can be adapted to the current driver. This is done via the “Disconnect” function in the secondary display of the Multimedia Cockpit Interactive 2 or alternatively via the use of the individual driver card.
