Lytx launched its Fatigue Detection technology in July 2025 and has now reported that in the first few weeks since its release, more than 23,000 vehicles across the country have already adopted it.
Fatigue Detection is powered by machine vision (MV), artificial intelligence (AI), and professional review to transform how drivers and coaches manage driver fatigue and road risk.

Driving data from Lytx customers reveals that risk and activity are not evenly distributed throughout the week.
Early morning hours, especially Tuesday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m., stand out as critical windows when commercial vehicle fatigue-related incidents occur. Lytx said this is an important insight for early morning commuters, knowing they are safer on the roads when joined by commercial vehicles using industry-leading fatigue detection technology.
By contrast, Lytx said most daytime hours are characterized by lower risk and reduced incident rates, suggesting that regular working hours are relatively safe. Weekends see a substantial drop in fatigue activity, which is likely due to the decrease in commercial activity over the weekend.
