Lytx Appoints New CEO

Xactly founder and former CEO Chris Cabrera is now at the helm of Lytx as the company’s new CEO.

Lytx, an industry pioneer of video and safety-driven efficiency, has appointed Chris Cabrera as its new chief executive officer. Lytix said that with his proven track record of success and innovation in the artificial intelligence (AI) and technology sectors, he brings a wealth of executive experience from his previous leadership roles at SaaS and AI companies, 

Cabrera served 20 years at Xactly, where he ws the founder and CEO. He takes over for Interim CEO Andy Eckert, who joins Lytx’s board of directors as chairman.

Under Cabrera's leadership, Lytx said it will continue to elevate its market position and leverage its storied history of using award-winning machine vision and artificial intelligence (MV+AI) technology to enhance driver safety and operational efficiency for fleets. Cabrera’s expertise in scaling businesses and fostering a culture of innovation will be instrumental in taking Lytx to new heights, the company said in an announcement.

Cabrera’s Background and Past Success 

Cabrera has more than three decades of enterprise and on-demand/SaaS experience in both private and public companies. He has been recognized by USC as “Alumni Entrepreneur of the Year,” by The Software Report as a “Top CEO of 2020,” and was one of Business Intelligence Group’s “Executives of the Year” in 2021.

Starting Xactly & Leading Growth

For 20 years, Chris served as the founder and CEO of Xactly, an AI-powered platform that combines revenue intelligence and sales performance management for organizations of all sizes.

Under his leadership, Xactly grew from a startup to a public company, achieving over 40% combined revenue growth and profit margin, creating the market and establishing it as today’s market leader. Xactly has won over 20 “best places to work” awards, including being recognized as a top workplace by The Denver Post and Fortune Magazine. 

Leading as Interim CEO at Provarity AI

He most recently served as the interim CEO at Provarity AI, a pioneering platform transforming how enterprise software companies manage presales engineering and the proof-of-concept (POC) lifecycle. His strategic vision and operational acumen helped the company achieve significant growth and establish a strong foothold in the industry, according to Lytx.
