Ford Pro continues to enhance its software offerings with updates designed to empower fleet managers with deeper insights, improved vehicle tracking, and streamlined fleet operations.
In January 2025, several new features and enhancements were introduced, including enhanced telematics capabilities to new driver-focused tools, the latest updates help businesses maximize fleet productivity and explore the transition to electric vehicles.

New Ford Pro Software Features Now Available
Ford Pro has redesigned the Vehicle Details page and made it the new default landing experience for drivers.

Ford Pro Telematics
Plug-In Device Seatbelt Alerts: Fleet managers using plug-in devices (PIDs) with Ford Pro Telematics can now receive seatbelt violation alerts for both drivers and passengers. These alerts are available in Reports, Trip History, and the Seatbelt Violations page.
New API Endpoints: Fleet managers can now integrate vehicle data into their own applications with new API endpoints, providing access to:
Vehicle Historical Status – Location, odometer, fuel levels, and key EV signals.
Vehicle Metadata – Make, model, year, and other key fleet details.
Vehicle Health – Diagnostic trouble codes, tire pressure alerts, and maintenance insights.
Driver to Vehicle Association – Assign and unassign drivers to specific vehicles.
Ford Pro Telematics Drive App
Driver Disassociation: Drivers can now unassign themselves from a vehicle directly within the app, eliminating the need to request fleet manager intervention.
Driver Privacy Mode: Fleet admins can enable privacy settings that allow drivers to toggle location tracking on and off when using fleet vehicles for personal use.

Redesigned Vehicle Details Page: The Vehicle Details page is now the default landing experience for drivers, allowing both drivers and fleet managers to complete vehicle checklists, report issues, and resolve maintenance needs.

Fleet Management Hub: Subscribers now have a single-entry point to access their fleet details, software subscriptions, and critical action items, with seamless navigation between Ford Pro Intelligence products.

Enhanced EV Transition Insights: Fleet managers can now use E-Switch Assist to determine whether the E-Transit with Enhanced Range is the right fit for their fleet. The tool analyzes fleet data, including trip distances, cargo load, terrain, and climate conditions, to estimate the number of daily charges required for both individual vehicles and entire fleets.
