The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) honored three pickup trucks with safety awards in their final ratings for 2024, showcasing the safety advancements made by Ford and Toyota in the truck category. 

The Ford F-150 crew cab and extended cab earned Top Safety Pick awards, while the Toyota Tundra crew cab achieved the higher-tier Top Safety Pick+ designation.
