Fleetworthy Unveils RADAR, an Embedded AI Layer Powering Smarter Fleet Decisions
A new artificial intelligence layer inside Fleetworthy Toll Management turns toll data into instant answers and proactive insights, with weigh station bypass, compliance, and safety enhancements next.

RADAR lets fleet managers ask questions about their toll activity, such as why a charge appeared or how a transponder is performing, and receive answers based on their own Fleetworthy data.

Fleetworthy, a complete technology suite for fleet readiness, has launched Fleetworthy RADAR (Real-time AI, Decisioning and Automated Resolution), a new embedded intelligence layer built directly into the Fleetworthy platform. Fleetworthy unveiled RADAR to customers this week at its fall roadshow in Nashville, Tennessee.
RADAR is built into the Fleetworthy products customers already use, not a standalone chatbot or bolt-on analytics tool. Launching in Fleetworthy Toll Management (formerly Bestpass), RADAR brings AI-powered intelligence directly into fleet managers’ existing workflows. It can answer customer questions about toll activity and proactively surface what needs attention next.
“RADAR marks an important step in how we're bringing AI into the Fleetworthy platform,” said Shay Demmons, chief product officer at Fleetworthy. “We're building intelligence directly into the tools that nearly 40,000 customers already use, helping fleets turn their operational data into clear decisions and actions.”
Early access to RADAR is now available to all eligible Fleetworthy Toll Management customers. RADAR lets fleet managers ask questions about their toll activity, such as why a charge appeared or how a transponder is performing, and receive answers based on their own Fleetworthy data. RADAR surfaces fleet-specific insight cards on the dashboard that flag toll anomalies, spending trends, and cost-saving opportunities, along with recommended next steps - all without requiring fleet managers to run reports. Fleet managers remain in control of deciding their action plan.
Fleetworthy will expand RADAR throughout its platform, introducing guided workflows and more connected insights over time. The company will also introduce RADAR AI assistant that will initiate proactive support when needed and automate actions based on their needs.
“Fleet managers need answers they can trust. RADAR builds every insight from their operational data, with our goal is to create a virtual assistant that scrutinizes the data, identifies optimization opportunities and recommendations, and proactively informs fleet managers to improve operations,” said Levi Sorenson, vice president of AI Strategy at Fleetworthy.
