Sales of vehicles from nine manufacturers to commercial fleets increased 4.6% to 47,987 vehicles for the month of November with solid growth in car sales and steady truck sales, according to Automotive Fleet data.

Commercial fleets added 7,563 cars for a 16.1% increase over the same month from a year ago and 40,424 trucks, vans, and SUVs for a 2.7% increase in a year's time.

Year-to-date, fleet sales have increased 3.4% to 567,573 for 11 months of 2015. The truck category increased 1.2% to 471,470, while the car category has increased 15.9% to 96,103 units.
