National average diesel fuel prices were $3.47 per gallon as of October 4, 2021, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
This is an increase from the last week of September when diesel fuel prices were $3.40 as of Sept. 27.

On-highway diesel fuel prices increase to start the month of October and increase over $1 from a year ago.
