CLEVELAND - NatGasCar LLC has received EPA certification for its Ecowise compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicle conversion system for Dodge Ram 1500 trucks equipped with the 4.7L V8 engine.
The Ecowise kit, available for model years 2010 and 2011, is available in CNG dedicated or bi-fuel gasoline-CNG configurations. The system also works on the Dodge Dakota with the 4.7L V8 engine.
According to the company, the install time for the conversion system is six to eight hours. The kit comes with a five-year/120,000 mile (defects) warranty.
In addition, NatGasCar has developed the Ecowise refueling system for CNG vehicles.
