Unlike other running boards, the AMP Research Power Step has superior load-bearing capacity. It utilizes a weatherproof motor and anti-pinch technology, and is tested to rigorous O.E.M. specifications.
The AMP Research Power Step dimensions are ergonomically patterned after household stairs. This gives the user a step-up experience that is both easy and familiar. While the door is open, the AMP Research Power Step provides a step low enough for even children to easily enter the tallest trucks. When the door is closed, the AMP Research Power Step automatically retracts flush with the rocker panel of the vehicle.
