On-demand vehicle detailer Get Spiffy has acquired Your Location Lubrication (YLL), which provides mobile oil changes to technicians and fleet managers, the company announced.
With the buy, Spiffy expands its fleet management as a service offering. The company, which is based in Research Triangle Park, N.C., now operates in 20 markets.
YLL has expanded its footprint in the past 10 years since its founding in 2009 in Orlando, Fla., by Zachary Zeller. It has been named to the Inc. 5000 five times and has grown 190% in three years.
Zeller will remain with the company as senior vice president of fleet business development.
"Preventative maintenance is the top priority for our fleet clients, especially oil change and tire rotation," said Scot Wingo, Spiffy CEO. "By combining our technology and expertise with YLL's, we will be able to provide thoseservices even more efficiently, which translates directly into dollars for our clients. We are also really excited to add the YLL high-volume oil change offering into the Spiffy solution."
After the merger, Spiffy and YLL will offer more than 300 W2-based technicians, a fleet of more than 200 mobile service vans, and 1,500 daily services. The combined company will provide more than 40,000 preventive maintenance services for fleets each month, according to a release.
