Mack Adds Chassis Coverage Options for Fleet Repair Costs
Mack Trucks introduced four system-specific chassis coverage plans, giving fleets more flexibility to manage repair costs for driveline, HVAC, electronics, safety systems, and other components.

Mack’s new system-specific chassis coverage options give commercial fleets more flexibility to manage repair costs and protect individual truck systems as vehicles age.
Mack Trucks
Mack Trucks has expanded its extended coverage options with four new Chassis System Plans designed to give commercial fleets more flexibility in how they protect trucks against unexpected repair expenses.
Rather than requiring fleets to purchase broader chassis coverage, the new plans allow vocational fleet customers to select protection for individual vehicle systems or combine multiple plans based on their operating needs.
Mack said the options were developed in response to customer demand for more flexibility as trucks incorporate increasingly complex electronics, connectivity, and advanced safety technology.
“The needs of today's fleets continue to evolve as vehicles become more technologically advanced and operating costs remain a key business consideration,” said Ashish Sadhu, Mack services director. “We created these new Chassis System Plans to give customers more choices, enabling them to protect the systems that matter most to their operation while also helping to reduce the risk of unexpected repair costs and downtime.”
Four Areas of Truck Coverage
The new lineup divides chassis coverage into four system-specific plans.
- The Driveline Plan covers components responsible for transferring power and keeping the truck moving.
- The Cab and Exterior Plan covers systems associated with vehicle structure, ride quality, braking, steering, and the driver environment.
- An HVAC Plan provides coverage for components responsible for maintaining cab comfort.
- Safety and Vehicle Electronics, focuses on electrical and electronic components, connected vehicle technology, and advanced safety systems.
That coverage is intended to address the growing number of electronic controls, telematics systems, and safety technologies found on today's trucks.
Fleets Can Mix and Match Coverage
Customers can purchase one system plan or combine multiple plans to build coverage around their needs. Fleets looking for broader protection can continue to select Mack's comprehensive Chassis Plan.
According to Mack, every component included under its comprehensive Chassis Plan is also available through one of the four new system-specific options.
The approach gives fleet operators another way to manage exposure to unplanned repair expenses as vehicles age and parts and labor costs increase.
For fleets balancing maintenance budgets with the need to keep work trucks on the road, the more targeted plans can also provide additional cost predictability without requiring broader chassis coverage than an operation may need.
