Reading Truck Body, LLC, the premier manufacturer of vocational truck bodies, announced it will institute a modest price increase for 2014, the first increase in two years.
The changes will go into effect beginning Jan. 1, 2014. Any orders
and quote requests accepted prior to that date will be priced at 2013 rates. The company noted that the primary factors leading to the new pricing structure were the increasing costs of raw materials and component parts.
“Due to economic conditions early last year, we felt compelled to assist our customers through the tough times and hold pricing, but we cannot continue on that path at this point. We are announcing this pricing change early to encouraging customers to plan ahead and order in 2013 at the current rates,” said Craig Bonham, VP of sales.
Visit the company’s website to locate an authorized distributor near you and get your orders in. The last day for orders to ship this year is Dec. 20, 2013.
