EROAD and Whip Around have formed a new strategic partnership to create a connected solution that helps fleet operators streamline vehicle maintenance, simplify compliance tasks, and improve vehicle uptime through shared data and smarter workflows.

The collaboration combines EROAD’s real-time telematics, including GPS tracking, vehicle data monitoring, and compliance features, with Whip Around’s digital inspection and maintenance management platform. Together, the integration is designed to help fleets automate processes, stay ahead of potential equipment issues, and make more informed decisions using insights gathered directly from vehicle systems.

"EROAD is committed to building a connected ecosystem that simplifies fleet management," said Mark Heine, co-CEO of EROAD. “We see fleet maintenance as a significant opportunity to deliver greater value to our customers. By combining our telematics expertise with Whip Around’s inspection and maintenance tools, we’re giving fleet managers the visibility they need to take greater control of their operations.”

From Fault Codes to Compliance: Connecting the Dots

Fleets using both platforms will gain access to real-time vehicle health data such as fault codes, engine temperature, and mileage. This level of insight enables more effective preventative maintenance planning, helping fleets identify issues early and reduce the risk of unexpected breakdowns.

The integrated platform also supports more seamless communication between drivers, fleet managers, and maintenance teams. Vehicle inspections and maintenance records flow into a unified system, creating a centralized space for compliance tracking and long-term asset planning.

“Fleets today face growing operational complexity and evolving regulatory requirements,” said Noah Hickey, CEO of Whip Around. “This partnership brings together two solutions to create a more connected, data-driven experience that supports both daily tasks and long-term goals.”

EROAD is headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand, with operations across North America, Australia, and New Zealand. Whip Around is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and focuses on helping fleets digitize their maintenance processes and remain compliant with vehicle inspection requirements.
