DES PLAINES, IL - Dave Decker, manager of Truck Engineering at Wheels, Inc., fleet-leasing company, and Erik Nelson, a Wheels truck engineer, were both spotlighted at the NTEA Work Truck Show held in Chicago March 3-6.

Decker delivered a workshop on trailer towing specification factors for Class 1-4 trucks. Session attendees reviewed many towing topics such as the main factors that must be considered when specifying a vehicle for towing applications, ways to select the proper truck in order to meet towing requirements, and tips for better towing. Understanding the dynamics of properly specifying such truck-and-trailer combinations is critical to vehicle efficiency and safety.

Nelson was reelected as Chairman of the National Truck Equipment Association's (NTEA) Young Executive Network (YEN) for 2009-2010. This is the second consecutive year Nelson was elected chairman, marking the first time a chairman has been reelected in the association's history. YEN helps develop future leaders through education, career development, and inter­action with NTEA's Steering Council.
