SAN DIEGO – Waste Management plans to deploy a driver risk and fleet management solution across its fleet of refuse collection vehicles for a five-year contract service term. The company ran a six-month pilot with DriveCam in two of its market areas before deciding to roll out the service across its fleet.

“Based on the results from the pilots, DriveCam can deliver clear benefit to our shareholders,” said David Steiner, President and CEO of WM. “We will ask our field and corporate management teams to lead the implementation side by side with the DriveCam team.”

DriveCam combines video analytics, real-time driver feedback, and provides a Web-based management portal.
