CYPRESS, CA - Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. introduces the new Toyo Open Country H/T with Tuff Duty. Engineered for high torque diesel pickup trucks that tow trailers or occasionally haul heavy loads, the Open Country H/T with Tuff Duty is an extension of the company's flagship Open Country H/T for light trucks and SUVs.
Heavy-duty, diesel pickup truck owners will experience longer wear and increased tread mileage as a result of new three-belt construction, less tread void and deeper tread depth.
Tuff Duty three-belt construction reinforces and stabilizes internal tire construction while less tread void results in a larger surface area for more rubber on the road. Also contributing to longer tread life and longer wear is a deeper tread depth, up to 17/32nds.
At the same time, the tire delivers the exceptional ride comfort and balanced all-season performance of the traditional Open Country H/T. A unique Tuff Duty mark on the sidewall distinguishes the Open Country H/T with Tuff Duty technology from standard Open Country H/T tires.
The Open Country H/T with Tuff Duty is available in five, 16- to 17-inch sizes for Chevy, Ford and Dodge 3/4 and 1-ton pickups. All are load range E.
