Thule to Debut 2008 Professional Line Products at SEMA
LAS VEGAS – Thule, Inc., a manufacturer of premium load carriers for all vehicles, will showcase its new Professional line of contractor-grade rack systems and accessories at the 2007 SEMA Show.
LAS VEGAS – Thule, Inc., a manufacturer of premium load carriers for all vehicles, will showcase its new Professional line of contractor-grade rack systems and accessories at the 2007 SEMA Show (Booth no. 33209), being held at The Las Vegas Convention Center, Oct. 30 through Nov. 2.
“Expanding into the truck rack market was a natural fit for Thule,” said Tripp Wyckoff, vice president of marketing, sales, and service for Thule, Inc. “Since we introduced the Professional line last November, initial response from dealers and professional contractors alike, has been very positive and we’re confident that they will be equally pleased with our new products.”
Thule’s Professional line features base truck rack systems and accessories to provide transportation solutions for ladders, conduit, lumber, and other building materials. New Professional line products for 2008 include Over-the-Cab Extension, Aluminum Diamond Tread Conduit Case, and Conduit Kit.
Thule will also debut its Karrite Full Frame Truck Rack System as part of its 2008 Professional line of contractor-grade rack systems and accessories at the SEMA Show.
The Karrite Full Frame Rack System consists of 2-inch OD heavy-duty steel tubes to provide maximum strength. A removable rear load bar makes loading tall items hassle free. Additionally, the new system, along with all of Thule’s existing Karrite base rack systems, offers excellent corrosion resistance with double layer protection. The steel is e-coated for maximum rust resistance and then powder coated to ensure ultimate durability. The flexible design allows for maximum vehicle coverage with a minimum SKU assortment.
The new rack system is offered in two sizes and for both open bed and cap-equipped pickup truck applications, and will be available in March 2008 at a wide range of automotive accessory aftermarket retailers across the country.
Thule is also continuing its partnership with the World’s Strongest Man (WSM) Super Series to promote its 2008 Professional product line of contractor-grade truck rack systems and accessories. WSM Super Series competitors, Magnus Samuelsson and Kevin Nee, will perform strength demonstrations using many of Thule’s Professional line products at the SEMA Show.
SEMA attendees can watch Samuelsson and Nee put the Professional line to the test twice daily at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Oct. 30 and Oct. 31.
