AKRON, OHIO - BKT Tires North America has announced the availability of several new sizes of three agricultural tires. The new sizes are available in the U.S. and Canada, according to Modern Tire Dealer.

The TR 171 deep tread tractor tire now comes in a 12.4-36 size. For paddy fields and wet soil applications, it has extra deep lugs that provide improved performance with increased tire life, says BKT, and provides excellent traction on wet soils. It natural rubber tread compound provides better wear and tear resistance. A tough nylon casing offers longer tire life.

The FL 639 adds the 560/45 R 22.5 size to the flotation radial line. Designed for high load capacities at low inflation pressures, its wide footprint area is suitable for soft soil conditions. It was designed for agricultural implement and trailer uses both on- and off-road.

The BKT I-1 farm implement tire is now available in 14L-16.1SL. The multi-rib, low section tire is designed to provide high flotation with minimum soil compaction and good load distribution.
