Thermo King Pioneers Telematics Integration in Refrigerated Transportation
Starting in 2024, Thermo King APU, trailer, and large truck products will come standard with TracKing telematics hardware and a two-year service subscription.
These products are available through more than 185 Thermo King dealer locations across the U.S. and Canada. The Thermo King 3rd generation TriPac APU marks inclusion as the first in the refrigerated transportation industry to feature built-in telematics.
Additionally, TracKing telematics hardware is already a standard feature in Thermo King's latest domestic rail container unit, the Advancer S-DRC, as well as the Heat King 450 series, the market's highest-capacity transport heater.
These digital offerings align with Thermo King's commitment to carbon emission reduction and contribute to Trane Technologies' 2030 Sustainability Commitments, including the Gigaton Challenge—a pledge to reduce one billion metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions from customers' carbon footprints by 2030.
