Gatik and ITOCHU Form Strategic Alliance for Middle-Mile Logistics

ITOCHU Corporation, one of Japan's largest general trading and investment companies, announced a strategic partnership and investment in Gatik, the market leader in autonomous middle-mile logistics. The collaboration aims to accelerate the deployment and scaling of Gatik's autonomous delivery network across North America. 

This partnership leverages Gatik's proven autonomous vehicle technology and ITOCHU Corporation's extensive automotive resources and expertise to transform the B2B middle-mile logistics sector.

The collaboration with ITOCHU is part of Gatik's strategy to revolutionize the North American logistics landscape by deploying Freight-Only at scale. By working with industry leaders, Gatik aims to address the challenges in the logistics sector, including surging e-commerce demands, critical driver shortages, and rising operational costs.
