Spartan Motors Names President of Specialty Chassis and Vehicles
Spartan Motors, Inc. has announced the promotion of Steve Guillaume to President of the Specialty Chassis and Vehicles (SCV) Business Unit.
Spartan Motors, Inc. has announced the promotion of Steve Guillaume to President of the Specialty Chassis and
Vehicles (SCV) Business Unit, which includes responsibility for the RV Chassis portfolio, Specialty Vehicles, Defense and Government as well as Aftermarket Parts and Accessories. His appointment was effective
May 11, 2015, and will report to Daryl Adams, president and CEO of Spartan Motors.
"Steve's diverse background and experience provides an excellent opportunity for us to expand the scope of our business," Adams said. "Steve has a proven track record of achievement in general management and P&L leadership. This includes success and expertise in the commercial vehicles, diesel engines and specialty bodies segments."
Steve Guillaume joined Spartan Motors in January 2015 as vice president of New Business Development & Joint Ventures. In this role,
Guillaume was responsible for managing Spartan's Joint Ventures and leading business development initiatives across the organization. Prior to joining the Company, Guillaume began his career in finance/accounting, before eventually progressing into a plant
controller role. Later, Guillaume transitioned to business development and general management where he held numerous senior leadership positions with Navistar, a manufacturer of commercial trucks, buses, defense vehicles and engines.
