LONG BEACH, CA – SNUGTOP, a leading provider of fiberglass truck caps and tonneau covers, and Phoenix Motorcars, a trend-setting manufacturer of environmentally friendly zero-emission vehicles, are pleased to announce a new partnership. SNUGTOP has signed an agreement to provide its top selling SnugLid tonneau cover as an OEM product to Phoenix Motorcars.
Hartmut Shroeder, President and CEO of SNUGTOP said, "This is a great partnership and one that encompasses what SNUGTOP is all about. We are dedicated to providing top quality products for top quality trucks. We are looking forward to a long-lasting relationship with Phoenix Motorcars."
The Phoenix truck, which uses a NanoSafe production battery pack to provide a range over 100 miles per charge and can reach a speed of 95 mph with five passengers and a full payload, will rely on the SnugLid to provide secure cargo storage and improve aerodynamics - contributing to increased range between charges.
Noted environmentalist, star of the HGTV series “Living With Ed” and prominent Phoenix Motorcars spokesman Ed Begley, Jr. says, “I’m a big fan of the Phoenix electric truck and can easily see how a SnugLid tonneau cover can help make it more practical and efficient. It certainly adds to the truck’s overall style, too.”
