HARTFORD, WI – Sno-Way announces the availability of its 26 Series straight blade snow plow. The 26 Series is specifically designed for midsize SUV’s and half-ton pickup truck applications.
The 26 Series is 26 inches tall and available in two standard blade widths – 6 ft.-8 in. or 7 ft. -6 in. In addition, the plow series is available with polycarbonate, steel or stainless steel (7 ft.-6 in. only) blade skins that are interchangeable. This exclusive Sno-Way feature allows the operator the flexibility to change the blade sheet for specific applications or for fast servicing.
Sno-Way snow plows are renowned for their high-strength, quality and durability. The 26 Series is no exception. Both sizes available have reinforced moldboard frames, heavy-duty A-frame and swing frame designs, a standard Shock Killer blade trip return system and super-fast, responsive hydraulics.
Other standard and optional plow features include:
Sno-Way Drive-In Mount System: Provides quick and easy attachment to- and removal from- the vehicle.
Direct Linkage System: Sno-Way’s plow-to-truck connection allows for the highest stacking height in the industry and eliminates “chain slap” commonly associated with hydraulic chain lift systems.
Energy Interruption System (EIS): Sno-Way is the only plow manufacturer in the industry to use a relay/module-free lighting system. This system eliminates costly replacement of lighting relays and modules. EIS® uses military spec electrical connectors to eliminate connector corrosion and provides a positive fit in all weather conditions.
Down Pressure Hydraulics (Optional): Sno-Way’s patented Down Pressure hydraulic system increases the down force on the plow cutting edge over 250 pounds, making back dragging and scraping more efficient.
Wireless Plow Controls (Optional): Sno-Way’s optional wireless plow controls eliminate messy cab installations and offer the ultimate flexibility.
Five-Year Structural Plow Warranty: Sno-Way is the first snow plow manufacturer with an exclusive five-Year Structural Plow Warranty.
Common 26 Series vehicle applications include: Chevrolet 1500 Avalanche, 1500 Silverado, 1500 Suburban, 1500 Tahoe; GMC 1500 Sierra, 1500 Suburban, 1500 Yukon; Ford Expedition, F-150; Lincoln Mark LT, Navigator; Dodge Dakota, Durango, Ram 1500 Pickup; Nissan Armada, Titan and Toyota Tundra.
