Ryder System, Inc., a provider of commercial transportation and supply chain management solutions, has launched the Ryder Fleet Management Portal, an online tool designed to help customers simplify fleet management activities to improve visibility, compliance, and decision making.
“Successfully managing a fleet has become increasingly complex, with new vehicle technologies, changes in hours of service rules, and rigorous regulatory compliance requirements,” said Dennis Cooke, president, Global Fleet Management Solutions. “The Fleet Management Portal provides one easily accessible, secure site where Ryder customers can do everything from review and manage reports, to schedule maintenance and find Ryder locations. It’s another way we can help Ryder customers keep their businesses on track and their vehicles on the road.”
Cooke added that the Ryder Fleet Management Portal simplifies daily tasks and enhances access to a broad scope of much-needed transportation data.
“With this portal, customers gain quick access to data that can help them make smarter decisions based on their fleets’ unique performance and needs,” Cooke said. “Customers want to see odometer entries for their vehicles. They want an online view of their fleets’ dashboards and reports. They want to track breakdown information by vehicle and location. With Ryder’s Fleet Management Portal, they can do it all, easily and quickly.”
For registered Ryder customers, the secure fleet management portal provides a single entry point for:
Maintenance scheduling.
Automated alerts and notifications.
Odometer entry capabilities.
Vehicle breakdown information.
Ryder shop location services.
Vehicle transfers.
Dashboards and reports.
The Fleet Management Portal is a free service for registered Ryder customers.
