Keep Learning: RTA Fleet Talks Smarter Fleet Management - Operations
RTA Introduces Ron360 AI Assistant for Fleet360 Users at Government Fleet Expo 2026
Unveiled at Government Fleet Expo 2026, Ron360 embeds AI into Fleet360, helping fleets quickly find data and generate insights.

The RTA Fleet team poses at its booth during the 2026 Government Fleet Expo, where the company announced the launch of Ron360, a new AI-powered assistant integrated into the Fleet360 fleet management platform.
RTA: The Fleet Success Company
RTA Fleet unveiled Ron360, a new conversational AI assistant embedded within its Fleet360 platform, during the 2026 Government Fleet Expo.
The new tool is designed to help fleet professionals access operational, maintenance, financial, and compliance data through natural-language questions rather than traditional reporting workflows. Users can ask questions directly within Fleet360 and receive responses that may include written explanations, charts, sortable tables, and source citations.
According to RTA, the goal is to make fleet data more accessible for employees who may not be familiar with report builders, dashboards, or complex system navigation. The company says Ron360 is available throughout the Fleet360 platform and operates within each user's existing permission settings.
Bringing AI Into the Fleet Workflow
As fleet organizations evaluate how artificial intelligence can support daily operations, many have experimented with external AI tools that require exporting information from their fleet management systems. RTA positions Ron360 as an alternative approach, allowing users to interact with AI without moving data outside the Fleet360 environment.
Brenton Messner, fleet services supervisor for the City of Las Vegas, said the tool has already reduced the amount of time spent researching fleet information.
"Ron360 has easily saved 10-plus hours of manual data research in the short period of time we've had access," Messner said in a statement. He also noted that using an AI assistant within the fleet management platform helps reduce opportunities for sensitive information to be shared outside approved systems.
Marc Canton, vice president of fleet strategy at RTA Fleet, said many organizations struggle to take advantage of the data they collect because finding information often requires specialized knowledge or additional time.
"Whether you're evaluating a repair, identifying opportunities for efficiency, or making a strategic investment decision, you simply ask the question and get the answer," Canton said. "That's a meaningful shift from navigating software to having a conversation with your fleet assistant."
RTA said every Ron360 response includes information about the data sources used to generate the answer. The assistant is also read-only, meaning users cannot make changes to records through the AI interface.
Additional features highlighted during the launch include:
- Responses generated from Fleet360 operational data
- Maintenance, parts, cost, and fleet insights delivered through natural-language queries
- Data visualizations and sortable tables
- The ability to save AI-generated responses as live dashboard widgets
- Source attribution and response transparency
- Administrative controls for permissions and usage monitoring
Josh Turley, CEO of RTA Fleet, described Ron360 as the beginning of a broader AI strategy for the company.
"Fleet organizations have spent decades investing in systems that store and report information," Turley said. "Ron360 is the foundational step toward a future where fleet management software doesn't just collect data, but becomes the platform used to automate routine work, make intelligent recommendations, and reduce the effort required to keep public fleets running smoothly."
According to RTA, future AI capabilities will focus on helping fleets identify trends, surface potential issues, and recommend actions based on operational data and organizational goals.
Ron360 is included with all Fleet360 subscriptions. Access is managed by tenant administrators, who can control permissions and monitor how the tool is used across their organizations.
