RoadFlex and Konexial, two leaders in fleet technology, have joined forces to deliver an integrated fuel management solution designed to help fleets reduce costs, prevent fraud, and optimize operational efficiency.

“Our partnership with Konexial marks a significant step forward in automated fleet management,” said Mary Akhavan, director of partnerships at RoadFlex. “By integrating fuel expense management with real-time telematics, we’re empowering fleet operators with the tools they need to drive smarter decisions, reduce costs, and eliminate fraud.”

Fuel Theft & Fraud

Fuel fraud and theft account for over 11% of total fleet operating costs, posing a significant challenge to businesses nationwide. With this integration, RoadFlex said fleets can dramatically reduce fraudulent transactions, prevent unauthorized fuel purchases, and gain full transparency into fuel spending.

Visibility into Every Fuel Purchase

Through automation and real-time analytics, RoadFlex and Konexial enable fleet managers to monitor and control fuel expenses with unprecedented accuracy. Customers leveraging this integrated solution will benefit from enhanced fuel risk management, real-time vehicle data synchronization, and intelligent spending controls to optimize their operations.

RoadFlex’s fuel management platform provides comprehensive visibility into every purchase, allowing fleet managers to set precise spending limits, control merchant category access, and receive instant alerts on suspicious transactions. For example, trucking company managers can establish custom spending parameters for each driver, automatically blocking unauthorized transactions and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Integrating with Vehicle Telematics

By integrating real-time vehicle telematics from Konexial with RoadFlex’s Level 3 fuel transaction data, the solution verifies purchases by confirming driver identity, vehicle location, and transaction legitimacy. It also prevents costly errors by blocking purchases that exceed a vehicle’s fuel tank capacity or involve incorrect fuel types, ensuring optimal efficiency and cost savings.

"Partnering with RoadFlex reinforces our commitment to providing fleets with a comprehensive, all-in-one solution to equip fleet managers with the insights and control they need to drive smarter decisions, reduce costs, and strengthen operational efficiency," said Jerry Daddesi, chief revenue officer at Konexial.

RoadFlex said as fleet operations become more complex, leveraging technology to streamline workflows and reduce manual oversight is critical. The RoadFlex-Konexial partnership delivers a next-generation fuel management solution that ensures fleets stay ahead in an increasingly competitive industry.
