Steve Jansen, CTP, has been named fleet maintenance manager at Republic Services in Mount Prospect, Ill. He assumed this position in March.
Previously, Jansen was director of truck fleet services and regulatory compliance for Donlen.
Earlier, Jansen worked as director of transportation at La Petite Academy, a child care company, from 1999 to 2006.
He managed the nationwide transportation function that included 1,650 vehicles, 2,700 drivers and movement of 30,000 students.
