Chrysler

  • Recall Number: 67D
  • Vehicles: 2019-2026 Ram 1500
  • Potential Units Affected: 1,271,294
  • Component: Seat belts
  • Breakdown: The second-row seat belt buckle anchors may have been improperly installed.
  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and attach the seat belt buckle anchor to the body structure as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed Aug. 18, 2026.
  • Recall Number: 61D
  • Vehicles: 2021-2023 Dodge Durango
  • Potential Units Affected: 74,578
  • Component: Structure
  • Breakdown: The rear spoiler may not be aligned properly with the roof, possibly resulting in damage to the spoiler during liftgate use.
  • Solution: The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed beginning Sept. 10, 2026.
  • Recall Number: 77D
  • Vehicles: 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L
  • Potential Units Affected: 81
  • Component: Visibility
  • Breakdown: Due to a software issue in the body control module (BCM), the windshield wipers may fail.
  • Solution: Dealers will update the body control module (BCM) software, free of charge. Owner notification letters will be mailed beginning Sept. 3, 2026.
  • Recall Number: 78D
  • Vehicles: 2026 Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Gladiator, Jeep Compass, Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Jeep Grand Wagoneer L, Ram Promaster, Ram Promaster EV, Ram 1500, Ram 2500, Chrysler Pacifica Plug-In Hybrid, Chrysler Voyager, and 2026-2027 Chrysler Pacifica and Dodge Charger
  • Potential Units Affected: 844,027
  • Component: Back over prevention
  • Breakdown: The rearview camera image may fail to display when the vehicle is placed in reverse.
  • Solution: Radio software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge. Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed beginning Sept. 1, 2026.

Ford

  • Recall Number: 26S58
  • Vehicles: 2026 Explorer
  • Potential Units Affected: 6
  • Component: Engine and engine cooling
  • Breakdown: The engine connecting rod bearings may seize, which can result in engine failure.
  • Solution: Dealers will replace the engine long blocks, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed Aug. 25, 2026.

General Motors

  • Recall Number: N262562600
  • Vehicles: 2026 Cadillac Escalade IQ, Escalade IQL, GMC Sierra EV, and Chevrolet Silverado EV
  • Potential Units Affected: 10
  • Component: Electrical system
  • Breakdown: The high-voltage battery may have an improperly secured internal module component.
  • Solution: Dealers will replace the high-voltage battery, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed Aug. 24, 2026.
  • Recall Number: N262556920
  • Vehicles: 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV and GMC Sierra EV
  • Potential Units Affected: 952
  • Component: Wheels, tires
  • Breakdown: A manufacturing defect may result in the steel wheels cracking at the disc vent holes.
  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and replace the wheels as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 14, 2026.
  • Recall Number: N262561970
  • Vehicles: 024-2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and GMC Sierra 2500
  • Potential Units Affected: 8
  • Component: Tires
  • Breakdown: The tire information label may state the incorrect rear tire pressure, resulting in underinflated tires and preventing the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) from displaying a low tire pressure warning.
  • Solution: Dealers will inspect, update the engine control module (ECM) software, apply a tire label overlay, inflate tires to the correct pressure, and perform a tire pressure monitor system (TPMS) re-learn process as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 28, 2026.

Rivian

  • Recall Number: 25V387
  • Vehicles: 2025-2026 R1S and R1T
  • Potential Units Affected: 3,829
  • Component: Exterior lighting
  • Breakdown: One or both front turn signals may fail to illuminate and flash.
  • Solution: Rivian will inspect and replace the front turn signals as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 29, 2026.

Royal Truck

  • Recall Number: N/A
  • Vehicles: 2022-2026 Royal Truck & Equipment Class 2 Traffic Control trucks equipped with a Wanco sign board.
  • Potential Units Affected: 110
  • Component: Equipment, structure
  • Breakdown: The solar panel screws may loosen, resulting in a partial detachment.
  • Solution: Royal Truck will provide instructions on how to remove the self-tapping screws and replace with rivets, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 29, 2026.

Toyota

  • Recall Number: 26TB14 and 26TA14
  • Vehicles: Tacoma Hybrid and 2024-2025 Tacoma
  • Potential Units Affected: 48,280
  • Component: Suspension
  • Breakdown: The metal flange on the front and rear shock absorbers may corrode and fail, resulting in detachment of the external oil reservoir.
  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and replace the front and rear shock absorber assemblies, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 21, 2026.

Medium- & Heavy-Duty Recalls

Altec

  • Recall Number: CSN-3356
  • Vehicles: 2019-2026 AN Series, 2023 AA Series, 2022-2026 Digger Derrick, and 2025 AM Series
  • Potential Units Affected: 55
  • Component: Forward collision avoidance
  • Breakdown: The Bendix automatic braking system was not recalibrated after relocating the front radar box.
  • Solution: Altec will update the collision mitigation system with the revised parameters, recalibrate, and test the system, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 16, 2026.

Heil

  • Recall Number: SN-26-001
  • Vehicles: 2016-2026 front loader garbage trucks equipped with replacement CNG tailgate ladder kits
  • Potential Units Affected: 654
  • Component: Equipment
  • Breakdown: An incorrect bolt may have been installed in one of the ladder legs, allowing the bolt to contact and damage the CNG cylinders.
  • Solution: Heil will replace the ladder bracket, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 8, 2026.

International Motors

  • Recall Number: 26513
  • Vehicles: 2027 HV, HX, LT, MV, and RH
  • Potential Units Affected: 49
  • Component: Visibility
  • Breakdown: A retaining nut in the wiper assembly may loosen, causing both windshield wipers to disconnect from the motor.
  • Solution: Dealers will tighten the wiper motor drive nut and three motor mounting bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 5, 2026.

Mack Trucks

  • Recall Number: SC0497
  • Vehicles: 2025 TerraPro
  • Potential Units Affected: 341
  • Component: Steering
  • Breakdown: The steering gearbox fasteners may loosen.
  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and tighten or replace the fasteners as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 5, 2026.
  • Recall Number: SC0498
  • Vehicles: 2027 Anthem AN and Pioneer PR
  • Potential Units Affected: 513
  • Component: Exterior lighting
  • Breakdown: The center roof marker lights may fail to illuminate.
  • Solution: Dealers will replace the center roof marker light, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 5, 2026.

Paccar

  • Recall Number: 25PACE
  • Vehicles: 2027 Peterbilt 567, 579, 589 and 2027 Kenworth T680, T880, and W990
  • Potential Units Affected: 811
  • Component: Seats
  • Breakdown: The seat ventilation harness may be missing heat-shrink, resulting in a short circuit.
  • Solution: Dealers will replace the harnesses, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 20, 2026.

US Truck Body

  • Recall Number: N/A
  • Vehicles: 2025 Isuzu NPR HD vehicles equipped with Waltco MDV series liftgates.
  • Potential Units Affected: 31
  • Component: Structure
  • Breakdown: The deck pins may break, causing the liftgate platform to fall.
  • Solution: US Truck Body will work with the supplier, Hiab, to inspect the platform bushings and hydraulic systems and replace the deck pins, free of charge. All affected vehicles were expected to be repaired by Aug. 27, 2026.

Volvo Trucks

  • Recall Number: RVXX2608
  • Vehicles: 2026-2027 VNL and VNR
  • Potential Units Affected: 2,071
  • Component: Exterior lighting
  • Breakdown: The center roof marker lights may fail to illuminate.
  • Solution: Dealers will replace the center roof marker light, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Oct. 5, 2026.
