Volvo Trucks North America Recalls

  • Vehicles:

  • Component: Side bench.

  • Potential Units Affected: 638.

  • Breakdown: The passenger side bench seat may be inadequately attached to the floor.

  • Solution: Dealers will replace the weld nut with two nuts and a washer.

Southeast Toyota Distributors Recalls

  • Vehicles: 2022-2024 Toyota Tundra.

  • Potential Units Affected: 534.

  • Component: Carrying capacity label.

  • Breakdown: The load carrying capacity modification label states the incorrect load carrying capacity, which can result in an overloaded vehicle.

  • Solution: SET will mail a new modified label, free of charge.

Mack Trucks Recalls

  • Vehicles:

  • Potential Units Affected: 12.

  • Component: Rear lifting bracket.

  • Breakdown: The rear lifting bracket that attaches to the engine cylinder head may be insufficiently secured, allowing it to detach.

  • Solution: Inspect and replace the flanged stud in the rear lifting bracket.

  • Vehicles: 2024 MD trucks.

  • Potential Units Affected: 74.

  • Component: Steering wheel.

  • Breakdown: The steering wheel attachment bolt may loosen and separate from the steering shaft, causing the steering wheel to detach.

  • Solution: Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the repair has been performed. Dealers will replace the steering wheel retention bolt.

Paccar Incorporated Recalls

  • Vehicles: 2024 Peterbilt 520

  • Potential Units Affected: 9.

  • Component: Rear lifting bracket.

  • Breakdown: The rear lifting bracket that attaches to the engine cylinder head may be insufficiently secured, allowing it to detach.

  • Solution: Dealers will inspect and replace the flanged stud in the rear lifting bracket.

  • 2020 Kenworth T660.

  • 2018-2024 Kenworth T800.

  • 2018-2024 Kenworth W900.

  • Potential Units Affected: 3,841.

  • Component: Seatbelt.

  • Breakdown: An additional spacer may have been added to the joint that connects the seat to the seat belt tether and buckle, causing an unsecured connection.

  • Solution: Inspect and remove the additional spacer and replace the bolt.

Ford Recalls

  • Vehicles: 2022-2023 Ford Super Duty F-350, F-450, F-550, and F-600.

  • Potential Units Affected: 13.

  • Component: Front wheel.

  • Breakdown: The fasteners for the front wheel hub extender may be insufficiently tightened, which can result in the wheel and wheel extender detaching from the vehicle. Solution: Owners are advised not to drive their vehicle until the repair has been performed. Dealers will inspect the front wheel hub extender retaining nuts.

Xos Recalls

  • Vehicles:

    • 2021-2022 SV05.

    • 2021 SA01.

  • Potential Units Affected: 242.

  • Component: Parking brake.

  • Breakdown: The bolts and brackets connecting the hardware to the electronic parking brake system may come loose, causing the parking brake to fail.

  • Solution: Replace the affected hardware and update the vehicle software.

  • Vehicles:

    • 2021-2024 Peterbilt 579.

    • 2021-2024 Peterbilt 567.

  • Potential Units Affected: 1,315.

  • Component: Fuel system.

  • Breakdown: The U-bolts that attach the air tank to the chassis may contact the fuel tank and over time, wear a hole in the tank.

  • Solution: Inspect and trim the U-bolts, and replace the fuel tank.

Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas Recalls

All About Truck Tires: Load Ratings, Sizes & More

  • Component: Open Country and Extensa tires.

  • Potential Units Affected: 14,194.

  • Breakdown: The tires may have been produced using the wrong mold, which can result in the tread or tire sidewall detaching.

  • Solution: Inspect the tires for the DOT code and mold number and, if necessary, replace the tires.

Hino Recalls

  • Vehicles: 2022-2023 Hino NE7A, NE7B, NJ7A, NJ7B, NV7A, and NV7B vehicles equipped with a 2500 series transmission.

  • Potential Units Affected: 985.

  • Component: Shift selector.

  • Breakdown: The transmission shift selector has a Park 'P' position, even though the transmission does not contain a mechanical park mechanism.

  • Solution: Inspect and replace the shift selector.
