Reading Truck Body, LLC, a manufacturer of vocational truck bodies, has announced the company has reached its milestone 60-year anniversary in 2015.
The Company is preparing to celebrate its anniversary throughout 2015 with numerous customer and employee events.
“Our dedication to manufacturing solid, dependable work truck bodies has remained a constant since Irv Suknow first established the company,” said Brian Nadel, president and CEO of The Reading Group, LLC. “Over the years, we have enjoyed the collected wisdom and experience of employees who take pride in the Reading name and the craftsmanship they put into every truck body we sell. And, we have built strong and long-lasting relationships with our customers and partners. We are appreciative ofthe dedication our partners have shown to Reading through the years and we look forward to continuing our strong partnerships over the next 60 years.”
The NTEA Work Truck Show in March will be the kick-off to the celebration.
At the show, Reading will launch updated options packages—called C2-60 and C2-60S—for its Classic II service body.
The C2-60options package includes some of the company’s most popular features:
Latch-Matic remote keyless locking system with audible alarm can simultaneously lock or unlock all components on the body with one touch.
Bright finish aluminum diamond-pressed pattern wear guards enhance durability, as well as the Classic II’s distinctive look.
Extend-A-Shelf modular drawer units permit easy, one-handed operation and help secure drawers when compartment doors are closed.
LED lighting for all compartment and cargo areas, reverse and license plate lights can help reduce energy drain on batteries and ultimately reduce costs.
The Reading C2-60S options package includes the above features, but offers the Latch-Matic SmartShield—an automatic remote keyless locking system that opens or locks hands-free when the key fob is in a specified response zone around the truck.
Also at NTEA, Reading will host its second annual Customer Appreciation event to present distributor awards. This year’s event will showcase Reading’s 60 years.
