Progressive's Real Life Trucking Hero Contest Open
To recognize truckers for their contributions, insurance company Progressive is once again honoring road warriors everywhere – giving truckers countrywide the chance to be recognized for their contributions in its 3rd annual Real Life Trucking Hero Contest.
Truckers are the unsung heroes of the transportation industry. They work long hours, are away from their families, and often don’t get the credit they deserve for a job well done.
To recognize truckers for their contributions, insurance company Progressive is once again honoring road warriors everywhere – giving truckers countrywide the chance to be recognized for their contributions in its 3rd annual Real Life Trucking Hero Contest.
Anyone can nominate a trucker from through Sept. 30, 2014.
To nominate someone, submit a photo and a short essay (up to 500 words) explaining why you (or someone else) should be named the winner.
To make a nomination, vote for a Real Life Trucking Hero, or to learn more, visit http://www.progressivecommercial.com/truckinghero or http://www.facebook.com/progressivecommercial
After the entry period has concluded, there will be a two week voting period where contest friends and family can vote for the top four winners (entrants can submit one entry during the entry period and users can vote once per day, per entry). Progressive will then award cash prizes to the top three and a grand prize of $5,000 to the trucker who wins the title of “Real Life Trucking Hero.”
