Nissan has unveiled its redesigned next-gen 2016 Titan full-size pickups at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit that include a Cummins diesel option for the first time in the model's history.
In addition to its redesigned exterior, the new Titan line includes a turbo diesel model, the Titan XD, that's powered by a Cummins 5.0-liter V-8 turbo diesel engine that produces 310 hp and 555 lb.-ft. of torque, according to Nissan.
Nissan will also offer a new gasoline-powered V-8 and "an advanced gasoline V-6," according to Nissan.
Nissan will offer the Titan in crew cab, King Cab, and standard cab versions. The Titan will be available with four-wheel or rear-wheel drive.
The 2016 Titan XD crew cab will be the first model sold and is projected to go on sale at Nissan dealers in late 2015. More details on the full Nissan Titan lineup will be announced at a later date.
